Greeley Volunteer Opportunities

Annual Update

We value our volunteers at the City of Greeley. Volunteers allow us to enhance our high quality services and advance our goal of achieving community excellence. Join our team of passionate volunteers to give something back and make a difference in your community.

In 2019 volunteers served over 56,695 total hours across all city programs! That amounts to an economic impact of $1.52 million dollars! Greeley volunteers help us to keep our programs running, provide essential help to our community, and help to enrich the quality of life for our community members!

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers!

Help out Santa Cops!

Santa Cops of Weld County is dedicated to providing toys to children who would otherwise receive nothing at Christmas. We will strive to improve Police-Community relations and give to those throughout Weld County who might otherwise be forgotten.

Help out Greeley PD by signing up to help with gift wrapping, donating toys, or with monetary donations! Check out their Facebook page or email ariel.maes@greeleypd.com for more info.

Greeley Adopt-A-Street Program

Since 1987 civic-minded volunteers throughout the state have adopted thousands of miles of Colorado highways. The City of Greeley has adapted that program to our city streets. Adopting parties agree to patrol and pick up litter from both sides of a specified segment of street for a minimum of two years. The City of Greeley provides trash bags and orange safety vests to volunteers and picks up bagged litter collected by volunteers.

Adopting groups can take pride in their contribution to their community and be confident that their efforts are increasing public awareness about litter control. It saves taxpayer dollars and gives adopting organizations a valuable opportunity to work together to make a difference.
