Greeley Water has been alerted to a scam involving door-to-door solicitors contacting residents claiming they are associated with the City of Greeley. Please know that any information provided by "Water Quality USA" is not affiliated with the City of Greeley, and we do not endorse these notices.
These solicitors may offer you free "water quality tests" or request payment for water services. They will tell homeowners that the water is unsafe and may attempt to sell you a water filtration/purification system.
We encourage customers to always check the credentials of anyone who claims to be a water official. City of Greeley employees will always carry an identification badge.
Your water quality is safe! Any claims that your drinking water is polluted, contaminated or unhealthy are false, and any claims that the equipment they are selling is government-approved are also false.
